27. DALEKS GO SIGHTSEEING.
What’s not to love about Daleks roaming around all the familiar landmarks in London? the images are so iconic and it was also the first ever location shooting. They had to film on Sunday early hours so that the streets were deserted. Our favourite story is that the Daleks scared the shit out of some late party-goers who were drunk and had no idea why they were seeing Daleks in Trafalgar Square.
And the music in the scene is awesome too, it really is a great sequence seeing those little pepperpots glide past the houses of parliament thinking ‘hmmm I wonder if I could be the next prime minister.’
lol. I suppose if you just bumped into them after having had a few you’d start to question your grasp on reality. “Oh shit it was real and we’re all screwed!” XD
